In for Some Legacy Starcraft Fixing?

The other day I tried to start up Starcraft: Brood War. No I'm not insane, I just wanted to see how far we'd come. Turns out a whole lot, everything looks crappy when it ain't 1080p (!)
Anyway, since I'm on Windows 7, I knew it couldn't go smoothly, and lo and behold I was right (Again!). The colors were all messed up.

Now if you're interested in fixing this there're two solutions:
1- Get Chaos Launcher and launch it in a window (Hate this, so Google it if you really wanna try it)

2- Create a batch file (right click anywhere in the SC:BW directory, new>text document, change open it, type the commands and save, then change extension from .txt to .bat) with these commands in it:

taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
starcraft.exe
start c:\windows\explorer.exe

Basically what this does is kill explorer (windows file explorer, that is) and launches SC, so no desktop effects will affect it. Then launches explorer right back up as soon as you quit SC.

Hope it helps!

CRYSIS Cheapness, What The Hell??!!

So the other day I said to myself, I'm a PC gamer and I haven't played Crysis.. That's a BIG mistake. It'd be like being a metal guitarist and never playing Sabbath. Or a hooker that doesn't do rim-jobs..
Oh wait..

Anyway, I pops it in, and WHAT the F#CK..

Ok fine, Crytek, your game's fucking gorgeous.
You know what's not gorgeous? Getting pseudo-sniped by Koreans wielding primitive AK-47-like spray guns. Seriously, these guys have hyper-telescopic vision that even your super-suit can't provide.

I HAVE A SOLUTION!

Just update the game.

I'm serious.. Just go and find the update. Aww heck I'll just link you:

Now they'll feel more like a third-world style army, and you can feel good with your superior, extremely unfair advantage in firepower and tech.

Fix'd

Now whip that Crysis box back out and go be a racist f#cker.. :D

Need For Speed Shift ATi Problems Solved! (Late Update About NFS : Shift)

You'd be surprised, but even though this is a very late post, some people still don't know that NFS Shift's Ati problem has been finally fixed.

As a plus, it also includes the DLC with five new cars : Toyota Supra Mk IV, 1967 Shelby GT500, 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, 1969 Dodge Charger R/T and the 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T..

I've tried it myself and it really works, game runs smooth as silk and I'm on a mid-range (If not lower end) ATI card, the 4670.

Do it..
